Anyone know anything about vinyl skipping? A couple weeks ago P got a vinyl of Below the Heavens, and over the weekend he got another vinyl. The new vinyl he got skipped a little bit, so he put a penny over the needle/arm thing because he read that it just needs a little weight. It works, so now the vinyl plays fine. But when he played Below, it kept repeating a verse from “First Things First” over and over again. The first time he played it though, it wasn’t even skipping that bad. Is the turntable defective? Does the vinyl need cleaning? It’s new and errythanggg. If anyone knows a solution, help a homie out!
